THE TRIP
As a Korean Adoptee, I make it a mission to take a trip to Korea every two years. Walking on Korean land gives me a sense of being home as well as allows me to discover more about my own personal journey.
The intial trip to Korea was designed as a birth search/ tourism vacation. With both iternaries accomplished, I designed my second trip to be more of a mission trip to give back to the country I love.
THE MISSION
=Provide diapers, necessities and nutrients to children either in care of an adoption agency/orphanage or being cared for by a foster and/or unwed mother.
The funds provided by willing donors will allow individuals the opporutnity to reach out and do something good for someone across the world.
The money will be handled in an American bank account and untouched until the donation date provided. This date will be determinded upon arrival.
YOUR ROLE
South Korea has the highest number of child adoptions in the world. Each child grew up with a story, hardships and a journey unique to them. The children temporarily staying at the agency do not have loving arms to hold them yet. Their days consist of a couple hours of play time, diaper changes and feedings. Your donation will make their temporary stay at the agency a bit less uncomfortable. From afar you can be those loving arms.
